Your work looks really good the only thing i can really tell you would to work a little on character construction. If your doing a complex pose try drawing construction lines of the character first and make sure its correct. You can also check this by trying to duplicate the pose in a mirror and seeing how the muscles redistribute themselves to keep you standing.

thanks, I got ahead of my self and just started throwing colors and shading around before I worked very hard on the construction part.....have posted an updated version....like the mirror idea
